Hangzhou, China Dragonwell, also known as ‘Long Jing’ is one of the famous green teas from China. The original area for Dragonwell is Hangzhou in Zhejiang providence. More recently, Xifeng, near Hangzhou has also become a popular tea growing area.

In making Dragonwell, newly sprouted tea leaves are hand roasted in a work to give then a flat, shiny appearance. This traditional and artisanal technique determines the flavor profile and value of the tea. It takes about one hour to roast each pound of tea.
